Inside Sales Representative

Headquartered in Calgary and established in 2008, Medium Rare Chef Apparel is a leading designer and manufacturer of work wear for the hospitality industry and lifestyle clothing/gear for the culture created after the rigorous work hours of a busy kitchen or front of house.  We design our gear for the people with a need to stand out from the boring white chef coats and white collared dress shirts.

Hospitality Outfitting is responsible for managing our direct business with restaurants, bars and hotels.  Focusing on selling back and front of house uniforms with Medium Rare products and services.  The in-house sales representative will be responsible for managing these customers and working closely with the operations department in fulfilling customer orders.  They are also responsible for growing sales by generating new customers through, but not limited to, networking, cold calls and trade shows.

Who You Are:

  • You must have a proven track record of growing sales with hospitality businesses, preferably with uniforms.
  • You must come with a portfolio of contacts that can be introduced to Medium Rare and converted into sales.
  • You are ready to hit the floor running within the first 2 months meeting established sales targets.
  • You have 5-10 years of experience selling to restaurants, hotels and bars.
  • You must be a highly self-motivated person who is goal-oriented and excited by the prospect of exceeding your sales targets.
  • You’re ready to jump in your car, grab a flight or make daily cold calls to meet your targets.
  • You have dynamite communications skills to keep the business units and owners up to speed on a weekly basis.
  • You work great in a team environment with a motivating attitude.
